| Very San Antonio: New Works by NEMO
San Antonio pencil artist, Nemo, is having a solo art show entitled "Very San Antonio" at The Village Gallery. The opening reception will be on Saturday September 27th, 6pm - 9pm. The Village Gallery is located in La Villita at 502 Villita Street, San Antonio, Texas. The show will run through the end of October.
Nemo will present a new series of art pieces inspired by his love for San Antonio. Using his trademark pencil on vellum medium, his freehand swirling spirals and perfect circles will captivate the viewer through imagery of Nemo's favorite San Antonio things. In addition to his tool of choice, the Number 2 pencil, each art piece has an accent of colored pencil, which enlivens Nemo's already inspiring and masterful drawings. His images depict iconic places such as the Alamo and the Riverwalk, as well as Folklorico dancers, Mariachis, and flora and fauna that have a distinct San Antonio feel.
Parking for this event can be found at various garages and surface lots surrounding La Villita. Bring parking stub for a $10 discount off of Nemo art work purchases of $100 or more.
