I read this review of the new Burger King breakfast sammy this morning and WOW ..... I don't know whether I want to eat this or not LOL .... check this out::

While some might see this as the King's paean to the workin' man in need of fuel for his arduous day at the slate quarry, we think it's basically a big, bacony bird flipped in the direction of the soy latte crowd. This is an unapologetically appalling sandwich, with the physical density of an Oxford English Dictionary soaked in pig drippings, and a calorie count sufficient to sustain an Olsen twin well into the next decade.

And holy heck, is it grossly, cheesily, saltily, porkily delicious. Or, at least so seemed the two or three bites we wolfed down before curling up under our desk in a grease coma."

Two Busted With A Fist Sized Ball Of White Early Wed. Morning

12:30 am Wednesday April 16th

Two males were pulled over, chased on foot, then arrested and taken into custody in the Camino Real apartments ..... where they lived.

No names are being released as yet, but two males, a white male and a black male both in their early twenties were taken into custody after fleeing when pulled over S.A.P.D.  They were just turning in to the Camino Real apartments on Sir Winston off Blanco Road, where they lived.  The commotion of several people running and yelling through the parking lot brought people out of their homes.  One witness, who recognized two of the officers, watched the search of the Burgundy 96/97 Buick Roadmaster through his binoculars.

The search turned up a two-fisted sized ball of white and a big bank roll.

Another witness said he saw the black male swallow a hand full of tiny packets then a few minutes later throw them up.  He and another witness said the male appeared to be very "dazed" after the chase and wondered if the dazed look and off balance walking was from the drugs.

Witnesses also said this was the second large bust inside this apartment complex in the last 24 hours.

Yourself out of the coverage area of your mobile network and there is an Emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to Establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly, this number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked. Try it out.

SECOND
Have you locked your keys in the car?

Does your car have remote keyless entry? This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone: If you lock your keys In the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their cell phone from your cell phone. Hold your cell phone about a foot From your car door and have the person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the other 'remote' for your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk).

Editor's Note: It works fine! We tried it out and it unlocked Our car over a cell phone!'

Imagine your cell battery is very low. To activate, press the
keys *3370#. Your cell phone will restart with this reserve and the instrument will show a 50 % increase in battery. This reserve will get charged when you charge your cell phone next time.

How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone?

To check your Mobile phone's serial number, key in the following
Digits on your phone: *#06#. A 15-digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. When your phone get stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them this code. They will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally  useless. You probably won't get your phone back, but at least you know that whoever stole it can't use/sell it either. If everybody does this, there would be no point in people stealing mobile phones.

STEVE SINGER, A FOUNDER OF TMC, PASSED AWAY APRIL 8, 2008

Steve Singer, one of the founding members of the Texas Music Coalition (TMC), passed away April 8, 2008. Steve served as chair of the steering committee that brought TMC into being, previously having been the last president of the San Antonio chapter of the old Texas Music Association. He will be remembered as the creator of the Wiley Awards, which TMC originally co-sponsored. A gifted songwriter, he released a CD of his songs (which he also sang) in August 2007 -- Thin Ice. Services were held this past Sunday.
